Photography Books

In March 2022, the Alternative Process Social community gathered for a special session focused on our favorite photo books. This event offered members an opportunity to share the books that have inspired their creative journeys, highlighting the artists and works that have shaped their approach to alternative photographic processes. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as participants discussed the stories, images, and techniques that resonated with them the most.

Throughout the session, a diverse range of photo books were showcased, from classic collections of iconic photographers to niche works on experimental and alternative processes. Many members brought in books on historical photography methods, such as early tintype and cyanotype examples, providing fascinating insights into techniques that continue to influence modern practitioners.
