The wait is over. APS resumes on October 21st at 7 p.m. This month, we will hold a roundtable discussion on topics that will elicit some opinions. Topics will be banter for twenty minutes or so. Here are just a few topics ready to go.
- Is the photographic process important, or is it ultimately just about the final image?
- Has photography finally been accepted by the general public as art?
- Are digital and analogue processes so distinct that they are now separate evolutionary branches of photography?
- Community and Exclusivity: Issues surrounding the inclusivity of analogue photography communities, including elitism and gatekeeping within certain circles.
If you have any suggestions, please send them my way.
Looking forward to seeing you all, catching up, and sharing your thoughts on these pressing matters in alt-process photography.
Best,
Horst
